Happy International Project Management Day! You mean you didn’t know we had a “day”?? Of course, any organization worth their weight has their own “day”. Why there is National Peanut Butter Day on January 24th, National Chocolate Day on October 28th, and of course, my favorite, International Project Management Day! We’re finally getting some recognition in the world, now that we have our own day. Thanks to the folks over at International Project Management Day for their hard work promoting our industry. There is even a link on their home page to request that International Project Management Day be recognized by your local government! There are already 7 states and 4 cities so recognized. Perhaps for 2012 we all could be recognized by our local governments!
You should be proud that we have our own day, so do your best in 2012 to improve your project management skills. Take a class, attend a PMI workshop, or do some reading to better your skills. It can take as little as 15 minutes or as long as 2 or 3 days to improve your skills and the results will be beneficial. Your next project will be successful! Be sure to check out our offerings here.
Thanks for spending part of your busy day reading this article! To hire Lisa-Ann to give a workshop or training class on any or our project management topics, contact us. Thanks!
