Background
Founded in 1994 by Lisa-Ann Barnes, IreeTec has helped over 1,000 project managers around the world become more successful project managers. Considered experts, we offer comprehensive solutions through our training classes, consulting services, and software products. Our classes, services, and products are based on MiApproach - our comprehensive model that addresses the business and interpersonal issues of project management, in addition to the mechanics.
The name of our company is inspired by the beautiful island of Jamaica. While relaxing there after successfully completing a project, our founder adopted the attitude of many of the islanders, which is that everything is going be irie! Irie is a Jamaican word that means everything is going to be okay. With a varied spelling, and the addition of the letters “Tec” to imply technology, the name IreeTec® was created. Manage Iree! |

 Lisa-Ann Barnes is the president and founder of IreeTec Incorporated. She is considered an expert in project management, speaks at industry conferences, is quoted in trade publications, and is co-author of Client/Server and Beyond: Strategies for the 21st Century, published by Prentice Hall. She has developed a proprietary approach to project management and has implemented it in various positions, industries, and countries to successfully deliver projects / products, improve project management processes, and mentor teams.
